Why to Come to Buffalo
If people hear of Buffalo, the first thing that usually comes to their mind is tough climate and masses of lake effect snow. While we do indeed get plenty of the pretty white stuff, it is not as bad as people like to think. In fact, Buffalo is a great place to live and has lots to offer, from the urban flair of the 2nd biggest city of the State, to the great architecture and historical landmarks of this former industrial center, to two of the Great Lakes (Erie and Ontario) on our doorstep, and to the breathtaking Niagara Falls. Come and check it out!
What UB has to Offer Academically
Buffalo is not only a great place to call home, it is also an interesting place from an academical perspective. The University at Buffalo is the largest of the State University of New York campuses and the center of research and education in Upstate/Western New York. With the UB2020 Initiative, the university pushes hard to further establish it as a center of excellence and a prime institution of research and education, that can rival the great private schools in the state.
UB CBE – Quo Vadis?
As discussed above, the goals for the development of both the university and are School of Engineering and Applied Sciences are ambitious. Here are a few updates on that front.
